Dedicated Staff
Our After Care Team is hired specifically for our After Care Students. There is one Team Leader per room of 10-15 Students.
FREE Transportation
ALICATS will provide each student a FREE ride from their school to ALICATS. Students will ride in one of three vehicles. Two Mini Busses and a 15 Passenger Van.
Grouped By Age
During Power Hour (Homework and snack time) our students will be split into four rooms broken down by age groups.

When students arrive off the KCC bus, each child is greeted by one of our Dedicated After Care Staff with a smile. All will receive a nourishing, healthy snack and the opportunity to reboot after a busy day and refuel for the activities ahead!

No Cell Phones or Personal Tablets allowed!
We believe kids need some time unplugged. We keep your child entertained through arts and crafts, creative play, and guided games and activities while at ALICATS! The only exception is Friday Movie day!
Dance or Movement
Class Daily!
Get Movin’ and Groovin’!
Your child will be engaged in a one hour interactive Arts Based class allowing them to expel their energy through a connected, guided lesson that will have them movin’ and groovin’ allowing them to re-energize their brains! Students will choose to join a dance class or the “Gametime” room.
What does a typical day look like at ALICATS?
Your students Aftercare experience will begin with one of our three ALICAT vehicles picking them up from school. Our vans are equipped with cameras both front and inside the vehicles. We currently pickup from the following locations:
- Flowery Branch Elementary
- Oakwood Elementary
- Martin Elementary
- Chestnut Mountain Elementary
- World Language Academy
- Lanier Christian Academy
- Chestnut Mountain Academy (Pre-K)
Once they arrive at ALICATS,
Students will go directly to their Hook and place their bags on their designated hook. They will take their homework folders to their designated classroom divided by grade level for snack and homework time.
SNACK: You may choose to pack your own snack, or we will provide a healthy snack. Water bottles are encouraged as we have a filtered water bottle filler to keep everyone hydrated.
HOMEWORK:
Wifi will be available for students to work on any homework activities that require it. We will spend 45-60 minutes on completing homework as best we can with the assistance of our staff.
ACTIVITY HOUR:
Every day the KCC members will be encouraged to participate in our activity hour! Monday through Friday, the students will have the option of choosing a dance class for their age, or the games room. The Games room will be an active room sure to get their heart rates up and energy out. We will focus on getting them moving and grooving for 45-60 minutes each day.
Arts & Crafts:
We will offer crafts for students to partake in! There will be an option to participate in craft hour each day.
Free Play until pick up:
We have so many awesome games and activities for students to have some free play with until it is time to go home!
Picking up your student:
We ask that you remain in your vehicle if at all possible and give us a call. One of our team members will walk your student to the front door and make sure they get to the correct vehicle. Have a new person picking up? We will need to be notified, and they will need to show their drivers license upon pick up.
Pricing:
Full week of Pick up 4-5 Days= $80.00/Week
Part time pickup may be available. Please contact us for more information and for pricing on 1-3 days of pick up.
Pricing INCLUDES Dance classes from 4-5pm. If you wish to enroll in any additional dance classes that start after 5:00pm additional tuition will apply.
Policies and Procedures:
Policy changes for 2023:
- Credit Card Fees will be added to the tuition amount Drawn each Friday for the following week. You may pay with Cash or Check by THURSDAY of the previous week of tuition to Avoid the fees.
- At Time of Registration you will be asked to pay your LAST week of tuition for the 2023-2024 school year. Tuition will begin drawing Friday July 28th, 2023 for the first day of school August 4th.
All payments will be a weekly auto-withdrawal from a credit/debit card the Friday before the upcoming week. There will be a credit card processing fee added to each payment. If you would like to pay by cash or check you may do so by THURSDAY before payments are auto drafted. If payment fails to be made by Monday at 2:00pm, your child will NOT be picked up and brought to the KCC.
Cancellation Policy:
There is a 1 week cancellation notification to discontinue attendance. You will be asked to fill out an online form in order to submit your cancellation.
Pick-up Time:
Must be picked up by 6:30 p.m. Late pick up may result in a late pick up fee to pay for the staff of $10.00 per hour late. Even if only 15 minutes late, that will be considered an hour. You are always welcome to pick up earlier. All Hall county Elementary busses arrive back by 3:00pm. LCA arrives back between 3:15 and 3:30pm
No Show and Attendance Policy:
ALICATS must be informed if a child has been checked out early or did not attend school. We are on a very tight schedule and cannot leave the elementary school until each child has been accounted for! When this happens we are late for each additional stop. We will give you our personal contact info upon registration.
First occurrence: no charge
Each occurrence afterward is a $10 charge
Weekly drafts will be processed for all school holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks, and cancellations due to inclement weather that happen the day before. Full time KCC students are welcome to attend day camp at a discounted charge for regular daily camp hours.
Students who are absent due to illness will still be charged their regularly scheduled tuition.
