Our summer session is 5 weeks of exciting classes to help keep your child movin’ and groovin’ all summer long! Whether a current student who wants to be sure to not lose any of the skills and technique they have learned all year, or a new student looking to give dance a try, Summer Session is Purr-Feat for anyone!
Here are the top 3 reasons to take dance in the summer!
- Keep actively learning and growing! Some kids can turn into a bit of a couch potato over the summer. Screen times tend to go up, and activity levels tend to drop. Keep your child actively using their brains and bodies this summer with a dance class! Dance utilizes many of the same skills needed in the school classroom like memorization, counting, rythm and pattern finding, and so much more! Dance also will help with balance, coordination, strengthening muscles as well as posture.
- Kids thrive on routines! If you are currently taking a class, or activity, don’y stop! Kids tend to do better when their routine is not interrupted. We have built in an extra week for our summer session, and are closed the week of the Fourth of July so vacation time won’t effect your classes.
- Great time to try something NEW! Five weeks should be long enough to decide if a class is right for you or your dancer. If you have a child who has been begging to try dance or a new style, but you were unsure if they really would like it, try it out for summer! We do not charge a registration fee for our summer dancers, so this is the BEST time to try ALICATS out!
Tuition & Pricing:
Our tuition is the same as ONE month of dance, even though you will be getting 5 weeks of classes. Tuition is drawn June 15th, and takes you through July 30th. August is the first month of dance for our new season. You will be asked to let us know if you wish to drop dance after July 30th.

Example: 5 Hours = $190+$70=$260 Per Month
